When love marriage till now remains taboo in our society, then same sex marriage will take centuries to become legal. And not all homo lovers have the money to fly to US and marry… what happens to such couples? its a burden they keep bearing for life, because they, eventually, as time passes by do get married to a man/woman of their parents choice but, in the hearts of hearts they remain what they always were GAY. That becomes an omen for them, cz they cant breathe any moment without freedom, they cant speak up, they cant enjoy and they cannot live life. All they do is spend their present lifetimes as if in a limbo….
But talking about this particular wedding that is so talked about, im delighted to see the two lovely ladies tying the holy knot and becoming one forever. My heart cant stop thanking the lord that he saved their love from all evil out there in our homeland. God bless you both Shannon and Seema always be protectors for each other… Love u guys and cheers

Wishing you both the happiest life together.

Los Angeles, CA
I think this is one of the most wonderful weddings, gay or straight, I have ever seen.
Your wedding was so incredibly beautiful; just looking at these pictures brought me to tears (happy tears!). Congratulations!
I saw a few of your wedding photos on Buzzfeed and followed the link to your blog. I just wanted to share with you how moved I was by your beautiful wedding. While I acknowledge the obvious significance of the entire event, that in itself is not what moved me. I was brought to tears by the look on the faces of everyone involved, not only the look of absolute true love shared by the two of you but the unconditional love on the faces of your guests. Thank you for making my heart so happy. I wish you both a long and wonderful life together.
Omg girls, that’s the most beautiful wedding pics I’ve ever seen! Congratulations..
You both are glowing in these photographs. It is so beautiful and full of love and happiness. Thank you for sharing your story of love!
What a wonderful wedding day for both of you–it is always great when cultures mingle and work well together. Blessings upon you! and congratulations. Thank you for sharing your love with us.
I am so grateful that I am able to see love like this! You two are a beautiful couple and as a straight woman I hope one day to find a man who makes me feel the way you two do. It is very unfortunate that your photographer is hijacking your pictures and making it about her when this is your story to tell and your wedding day. Not to worry we can see through her greed!! I wish you all the best and know that you will be happy and joyous forever!
Love U dear…..may u live happy forever after….your blog made me fall in love with You!!

Many Congratulation…..!!! You Both Look like Having Great Love & Courage. Very Well-done for Correct Decision. Suffer with someone else is better then Live with the person whom you love.
Be Proud to be in Love.
So do I.

I am Italian and I am delighted to see such beautiful people getting married… in my country, we don’t even have a law against omophobia so I can’t marry my girlfriend here… but seeing you gives me hope for a better future, even for me! <3 many blessings and love!
This is probably the only example in the world..where human beings have bypassed the circuit braker of fear and leaped into the bliss of being free from world mind….hence..your wedding is being immortalized and loved by the same crazy people of this harsh planet…reason?….you managed to create the blissful indifferance.from.the society…by using the power of love…in other words its called living in the moment…and may u both live in that unision forever…so be it : )
Congratulations ladies. Fantastic pictures.
I am a gay woman in a country (Australia) that has laws to protect me but sadly none that allow me to marry, and my partner (Indian) is from/in a country where it is now illegal to be her.
You give us hope.
Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter and happiness.

THE bottom line is two persons like each other , love each other , ready to live together as couple and ready to share delightfully everything between themselves. WHAT is wrong in
it ? HOWEVER it is easier said than done . HOWEVER ,every bold step taken defying conventional marriage by some individuals will force those who are against such alliance to redefine marriages .
